The Wikend Project ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We wrote this in plain language because that's how we do everything.
When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business type, and any message you write to us. When you visit our website, your browser automatically sends us standard technical information like your IP address, browser type, and which pages you visited.
Contact form submissions are stored securely in Google Sheets. Website hosting and technical data is handled by Vercel. We do not use invasive tracking cookies or sell your data to third parties.
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, provide the services you asked about, and improve our website. That's it. We don't send spam. We don't sell your information. We don't do anything shady with it.
Only the two cofounders of The Wikend Project have access to your information. We use Google Workspace (for form data) and Vercel (for hosting). These services have their own privacy policies and security measures.
We keep your contact information for as long as we have a business relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete it. If you just filled out the contact form and didn't become a client, we keep your info for up to 12 months, then delete it.
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. Just email us. We'll handle it within 30 days. If you're in Canada, you have rights under PIPEDA (the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). If you're in Quebec, you also have rights under Law 25. We respect all of them.
We use essential cookies to make the website work properly. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If we ever add analytics, we'll update this policy and let you know.
Our services are for businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll make it obvious.
